A Cherry Blossom Festival "Taste of Japan" Party

The Buffalo Cherry Blossom Festival is an Annual Event that started in 2014.

Its original goal was to bring awareness to our Cherry Tree Grove in the Japanese Garden in Buffalo and to support the upkeep of this treasure.

The mission has expanded to encourage Cherry Tree Plantings in Buffalo in order to bring a springtime  'Blizzard of Blossoms' to Buffalo, following our Winter Blizzards. An opportunity to meet and greet the friends of the Cherry Blossom Festival and Olmsted Parks.

Cash bar will be open. 

Japanese Food Tasting Stations

Station 1: Sushi Action Station - Student Chef Demonstration from 5:30 to 6:00 p.m., featuring undergraduate student Joy Thompson, class of 2018, and Heather O'Donoghue, class of 2019

Station 2: This station consists of serving a type of soup or broth with vegetables in a decorative bowl

Station 3: Shrimp/Vegetable Tempura w/dipping sauces

Station 4: Desserts Sixto
